France usually has a good team, but that's with Parker.

3 good nba big men? Oh no how will we compete with our 12 nba all stars?

I'm sorry, it just feels like bball guys trying to sound like they know more than other people and overrating Spain. That's obviously easy to say
It's because Spain matched up really well. They have some of the best big men in the NBA and USA lacks size. And their other players are all very good NBA players.

Plus, they've been playing together for years and years.

Spain has had very close games in the Olympics against team USA when they had all of their big dogs like LeBron and Durant.

Spain was a legit threat to beat USA in this tournament.

I knew they liked basketball in Europe but I didn't know this was tear worthy.

Absolutely.

The US has played hero ball a lot and has been just running on Offense and playing pathetic Defense a lot.

Spain has Ibaka/Pau/Marc as well as Rubio and have played together for years.

If AD or Faried got in foul trouble in that game, we would have been F'd.

US will cruise now.

Marc Gasol was 1/8 or something in this game with 3 rebounds. Absolutely embarrassing for him

he would. There was some shenanigans going on with him and the Bulls keeping him from participating in 2012. France filed a complaint I believe. I think Thibs just wanted to weaken the competition.

If Ibaka played for them instead of France they'd have a stacked team. At least their starters.
