15 this afternoon. Nice hunt for once I was in "The Spot" in the field. Everyone else was so-so in our field.

Had a pretty shitty opening day. Birds had scattered the week prior and only certain spots in the fields we were hunting pounded them. Had 5 birds at 4pm when I said screw it and opted out of the heat. Had a nice shoot yesterday afternoon in a different spot.

A couple of us hunted my field behind my house opening morning but it was so damn foggy you couldn't see your gun barrel. We killed a few, but they never did really fly. Ate a helluva breakfast though.

we opened labor day. We had a little over 500 killed in our field on the afternoon hunt in south ms. It was a good hunt.
