Green Bay Packers just ran pitch dive.
Aaron Rogers pitched to Lacy.
And yes we will stay have people with no football knowledge
who question Les and ask why he runs it.

I've seen that damn play work a lot of times. I hope we keep it in our arsenal.

It's really like any other play that requires proper execution from all players.

It works well once every four or five games so we keep running it.
The run a play on 1st down, hurry to the line and run a toss dive for one or two yards thing LSU tries a few times a game is really frustrating.

Not getting many yards off of it but Seahawks have an aggressive and strawnk defense.

pitch dives allow RB more room to adjust to the defense. It works well with a RB with good vision.

Posters on this site that bitch about play calling and wanting to have new creative plays, don't know cfb. Cfb teams don't have a huge, thick play book. Cfb players don't have the time to learn a lot of new plays from week to week. Being able to execute the small play book they do have is what's key. I dont think most of the posters on here realize that if you execute properly, any play cab be successful.

The Saints used to run it with Ricky Williams all the time.

I was taking a shower, so I didn't see it live. I saw this thread, rewound the dvr, and watched your play.
Holy cow! It was not the toss G that LSU runs. The play before for Green Bay was a toss sweep. The next play was a set up to look similar, but it was a designed cutback. Watch the fullback. He started right, then cut back to the left. The ball carrier followed him. This is not the same design as LSU.

Other teams run it. Just another thing people bitch about. Hill took a couple to the house.
