I'm not exactly sure how worlds/servers will be searchable, but I'll start a Tigerdroppings one if y'all want and if it can work that way... With the insane size of these worlds there should be plenty enough room for everyone
As long as you fricks ain't making computers or calculators or none of that incredible/insane ish

So much fun.
I hate creative mode. Don't get me wrong i like creating shite but a joy for me is actually looking at my creation and knowing I worked for it.
In one of my last worlds on my 360 we made a castle that was MASSIVE. had a small village inside it and had 4 towers you could go up and you could walk inside the walls and above the walls as well. It was so massive it took up a decent section of the map. Took a handful of us a good while to do but it was awesome to see done.

I'm the same way. Collecting the resources to build bad arse things is part of the enjoyment to me.

You aren't doing creative mode correctly then.
Lots of amazing mind blowing creative builds out there that require a ton of work.

yeah when I get off work this evening (6ish), I'll start a new world for the 3 of us.
One thing I forgot last night when CornDog and I created a world to start with was to set the seed size to Large. By default it's Classic, which means it's the size of an Xbox 360 map. No beuno.
So yeah haha, we'll be starting from scratch after a solid 2 hour start last night where we found a nice flat piece of land near the spawn, had a mine down to bedrock, and CornDog had cleared and flattened a huge area for us to start a village.
Oh well haha.

How does it work when entering servers? Do you type it out or is there a list of servers.
Posted on 9/5/14 at 11:19 am to poncho villa
right now it's the exact same thing as the xbox 360, when it comes to servers. basically you can play locally or play in a friends local world.
the servers are coming down road in a future update.

So the person who started the world still has to be on? That's gotta change.

yeah.....sucks balls.
but the render distance seems to be almost doubled. the map size is basically a 5 v 5 version of the original map size. and it comes with a ton of DLC ready to be purchased and used.
we'll need that TU17 update for horses and a few other things, but so far def worth the money even without dedicated servers.
