This is the SECN A team announcers. There is no other good games, so we get the A team. He has not been demoted, yall are all dumb. ESPN announced they were sending their top broadcaster team to LSU game.

I wouldn't have much of an issue with it if this was the first time he decided to take a shot at LSU on national television.
On balance, Musberger has been pretty favorable to LSU over the years when he covers them. Now he'll usually fawn over the home team slightly when he's in town, but that doesn't bother me.
And it's true, he's considered one of the best in the business who's moving toward the end of his career. If not for the SEC contract (which was a huge "get" for that network), he'd be calling the major national night game.

Go to the game and you won't have to hear him.

Our fanbase truly will bitch about anything. Are we really going to bitch because an all-timer of an announcer is calling our game that historically would be on pay-per-view?

Wow! I'm not a fan of Musberger, but I like Palmer. Whether or not you like Musberger isn't the news here, it's that the SECN A team is covering a cupcake game in TS. LSU has an opportunity here to raise some eyebrows if they get their shite together and blow this team out. The bad news is that this will keep some of the wine and cheese fans at home. I'll be sure to record it so I can watch after we get back from the game.
For everyone with tickets PLEASE GO TO THE DAMN GAME. If for no other reason, go to see the freshmen play their first game in Tiger Stadium and to see the renovations. It's an opportunity for the Tiger fans to make a statement on national TV as well.

I'm usually too wrapped up in the game itself to pay attention to the announcers
i agree with that. i try not to listen to them too much.

As long as all the tech people do their jobs (good quality broadcast, don't miss plays due to commercials or instant replay), I'll be OK.
This has irritated me more recently. I don't care about the crowd, or looking at Les, or something else that's not important. I would like the camera to be ready, and not some stupid arse view from above, or from the corner of the endzone, or some other retarded view to impress me that you have all these cameras, when the teams get to the line.
I want to see who's in the game and where everyone's lined up before the snap. I also want to watch live football from the main camera view. Show me replays from the other cameras, not live football.
I don't need to be reminded that the corner endzone seats are the shittiest seats in the house while i'm at home watching the game. 50 yard line seats are the most expensive for a reason. i want that camera view, all the time.

I actually think that Musberger is one of the few national announcers that pulls for LSU. Listen to him call an LSU game. You can tell he gets excited when LSU does well. It was very evident in the 2012 game against South Carolina.
You mean the game where Hawthorne blurted out "Jeremy Phillips up the middle!" when JH33 busted the game breaker. The only audio you will find of that play is Musburger or the Cox replay guys...
