LSU will get back its three suspended players this week, but two of them have lost their starting job.

Cornerback Rashard Robinson, center Elliott Porter, defensive tackle Maquedius Bain and linebacker Ronnie Feist all missed the Wisconsin game due to a suspension, LSU’s sports information director confirmed to the media Saturday.

Robinson and Porter, expected to start, now are listed as backups on LSU’s latest depth chart, with Jalen Collins taking over at cornerback and Ethan Pocic at center.

Coach Les Miles also announced that receiver Malachi Dupre (hamstring) will practice this week. Even if he’s 100 percent healthy, he’s behind the other receivers as a true freshman who didn’t play in the Wisconsin game and hasn’t practiced, but the five-star recruit only adds another young touted player to LSU’s cadre.

Nothing against Pocic as he has a very bright future ahead of him, but I hope Porter gets his shite together. Better suited for the C position IMO. Robinson will play plenty as will Bain. Hopefully these guys don't get out of line again.

I'm still baffled by the Herron situation. But no one here seems to want to clarify the "LMFAO incident".

thank god. now we need to find out who does the drug testing and bribe them to ignore all the positives for marijuana. I'll pay.

seriously, I love Miles, and I have a new level of respect for him after this weekend, but that shite is killing us. it cost us Badger, it cost us Noil, it probably didn't help with other recruits (Collins, Robinson, and Willis), and we can very obviously forget about Snoop Dogs son coming here.

If he is not. Wow!

I thought Miles clarified this. He didn't play because he's not ready to play.

Think you are thinking of Gilmore who wasn't mentioned much at all in Spring summer or fall. Herron was said to be coming on strong and was expected to contribute heavily this year. Him not playing almost certainly had something to do with off the field issues.

He would be the #1 corner on a lot of teams. Had a super game.

Yeah RR is going to have to earn his way back, as long as Collins keeps playing at the level he did sat, we're more than good.

Why is the writer using a $2 word like "cadre" in his report? This is football.

Collins will start until he proves he's not worthy of it. He's an upper classmen, has put in the work to elevate his play, and has stayed out of trouble. They will split time and both play heavy minutes, but if Collins keeps playing like this, he will start IMO.

LSU admin has a hard on for it. Other schools are looking the other way.
