Did Miles even mention what they were suspended for or is the Rant just assuming again?

Plus there are a few posters that know somebody that knows the deal. But they can't tell you anything except that they know and you can't know.

Louisiana kids love to smoke weed. As they should

its not just Louisiana kids, its college kids. kids in college are gonna drink, get laid, and smoke weed. if it were up to me we'd have a roster full of physically devastating nerds, nothing but 6'5", 250 pound monsters running a 4.3 and then spending their weekends teaching orphans to fish or whatever it is that nice people do. but that's obviously not gonna happen. it's not reality.

monsterballads is right, saban and sumlin dont test for weed, even though they've had the very same issues we have.

I'm not saying its ok for players to get stoned every night, it's not, if Badger really failed as many tests as has been reported than Miles might have helped save his career, but if it's typical college kid stuff, than we're killing ourselves by freaking out about it. it is absolutely used against us in recruiting.

just because Robinson got high doesn't make him a bad kid, it actually makes him a perfectly normal kid, but the fact that he was suspended might make an NFL team think hes a bad kid. that might cost him a position in the draft and that will cost him money, which is the last thing any 5-star wants to hear about the college they choose.

LSU admin has a hard on for it. Other schools are looking the other way.

True. Its asinine that anyone cares at all. Imagine if the school tested the students. LSU would be half empty. It doesnt enhance your performance nor does it harm anyone. Legalization cant happen fast enough

Heres a run on sentence--So a kid who is given a full scholarship to college bc of his athletic ability, whom the University worked hard to get qualified bc of his subpar grades, and also knows he will most likely be a millionaire in 3 short years if he simply chooses not to break the easy rules set in place, no matter how unfair they may be perceived to be, then breaks them anyway, doesn't deserve repercussions?

we don't really yet know if Bain will be in the rotation. hopefully he will be.

Bain is most def in the rotation. The 3rd DT and 1st DT off the bench for us. And most likely has the highest upside out of all our DTs, along with Godchaux.

Ive been a big Bain supporter and still think he will be our breakout player on D.

how can you not love a defensive tackle named Bain. he should intentionally spell it wrong on his jersey so its "Bane"

I disagree.these kids are not regular students, they are receiving a hundred thousand dollar education and benefits. I think it is a selfish act on their part and they let their teammates down. They know the rules and I don't fault LSU for making them adhere to them. Nor do I give credit to Bama and A&M for turning a blind eye. Smoking pot is not a big deal, but having disregard for your coaches and teammates is.

I get exactly what you are saying in that ridiculous run on sentence, but I'm an adult and these are kids. Shake is 100% correct in saying this is certainly used against us. These kids are not paid professionals and shouldn't be treated as such.

Pocic wasn't recruited as a center but he can play any position on the line. He's a young man and has a good future ahead of him at LSU.
