you realize he could have gotten it from another employee?

Some of y'all are looking at this from an interpersonal standpoint and not from a business one.
You don't need that kind of shite in a workplace, even if two people are married. Flirt and frick on your own goddamn time.

I'm 26 years old. I'm not going to white knight for a 16 year old. Sorry

since I never actually witnessed his behavior I just thought they were making it up for attention.
I sincerely hope you are never placed in a position of any management or authority at any company and I hope you get sued for helping to cover up sexual harassment

you probably did the guy a favor.

Most people that work in restaurants have each others numbers. Way to get people to pick up shifts, etc

It's a part time job - WGIF about the owner or the "business standpoint"? Dork.

Exactly. Age isn't important, employee and his friend that came in slapping another employee's arse at your place of business is a definite no.
If someone doesn't have the discretion to figure that out, I damn sure don't want them involved in my business.

Its not a "part-time" business though. So it still matters.

Which is why I never really did anything about it until now
The past 2 months its been complaints from various female employees but the fact I never saw it and the fact they never reported it made me not care.
But when the arse slap happened this past Saturday and I saw the host run away in fear I was pissed off at two 24 year olds doing that to someone 8 years younger. And then I told her to go report it but she said no, she didn't want to be a snitch. So I did it for her. frick you if you get harassed like that and let it happen, you get what you deserve.
I didn't say it in my original post but one of the girls who was complaining about him is 8 months pregnant and is one of the nicest girls there. The rest of the complaining girls are bitches but not this one. If you are harassing someone 8 months pregnant you are pathetic. That also led to me finally saying something

The owner and management. Or any employee who's smart, really.

Maybe if the hostess was 14 years old he would find the conduct inappropriate. Nevermind, he'd probably still be ok with it.

Tell those counts you work with that homeboy is lucky you didn't have him arrested. Then tell them this is your house, your restaurant and henceforth they are all your women, to do with as you please! When you please!!!

Exactly, but she's also still not old enough to know better, maybe she's a lost cause, but she needs to be told that's not normal.

Was this your former co-worker?

Yellowfin and I are the only people on this thread who understood what happened.
