Schlitterbahn New Braunfels question (Updated)

Is there two parks there? I've heard there's the old park and the new park. I've also heard you really only have enough time in the day to do one at a time.
If this is true, which is the best park?

yes 2 parks it just depends on the crowd on if your can get the majority of both parks done in one day.

2 parks a 5 minute bus ride to the other. You can do both in a long day as long as the crowds are low. You can also bring in a cooler with lunches and drinks.

Don't go on saturday and everything is fine. Go on a weekday and get there when they open because crowd is small. The locals get there later. Also
Old park>>>> new park imo
Old park>>>> new park imo

Well, we're going this Sunday.

Go during the week, show up at the new park a little bit before it opens, and you'll easily be able to enjoy all of both parks. The lines for the big slides in the new park get crazy long middle of the day, though.

All I wanna know is which park has the best lazy river

Old park has a great lazy river but so crowded on weekends. You would do better to tube the Guadelupe or Comal!

They do not allow rabbits in the park.

The old park has a nice, traditional lazy river. Thew new park has two lazy river type things. One of em is just a faster, shorter lazy river, the other one is really long but has a few rapids and drops, so it's not really a "lazy" river, but it's fun.

It's fun as frick, and relly long...prolly takes about 20-30 minutes or so to do the whole thing, depending on how packed it is. But it's the best lazy river-type thing I've ever seen.

we knocked out both in 1 day..you should be able to do so as well..not that difficult...cool place.

You'll have plenty of time to go back and forth between parks, btw. Just hit one park and then hit the next, and then go back and hit things again that you liked.
Also, get there early.

Update- Schlitterbahn New Braunfels fricking sucks arse!
2+ hour waits for the slides. Parks way to spread out. Had to walk miles to see everything. Lines to big rides were cloaked on multi platforms where you could not see how many people were in line ahead of you.
Lazy rivers were ok but once you did them 3 times that was enough.
Would choose Galveston Schlitterbahn any day over that one.
Everyone in our party agreed.
We even had a cabana rented and it still sucked.
Ohh well, had to go once to see what all the hype was about.
And the eye candy was non existent.

Two parks, you take a trolley between them. You can do all three in a day. The old park has a lot of relaxing float rides, one that ends in a river can take 30-40 minutes to ride.
The newer park has the more thrilling stuff. The wavepool river is a lot of fun as are the water coasters.
I don't think I've ever done two days.
