I heard about this yesterday, and decided to do some research. Voynich manuscript is a book found by some guy in 1912 that dates back to the 15th century and contains a language that has not been decoded since its discovery. The book contains plants that don't exist in nature, astronony, chemistry, and women scattered throughout the images.
No one knows exactly why exist and many have jumped to conclusions; alchemist, cults, and aliens being one of them!

It's fascinating. I've seen a few documentaries on it and I've read a lot of web pages about it. Nobody has a good explanation for its existence. Some think it's a hoax but if it is, somebody spent an awful lot of time and money (vellum was expensive back then) to perpetuate a hoax. The book is written in at least two different hands and at least two different languages. The really weird thing is that Hand A is written in Language A and Hand B is written in Language B.

My 7 y.o. drew a picture of trees, humanoids, and a star that doesn't exist in nature. Quick, contact History Channel.

So you read its Wikipedia page, right?

In all seriousness, it's pretty cool, but is most likely just a bunch of nonsense bullshite.

You want to read about cool shite, check out the antikythera device, and have your mind fairly blown.
