How would you rig that thing up to catch a bass?

Always wanted one of those. Had a friend that bred them for a while. They are pretty tough to keep in captivity. Most of the captive need ones are easier because they are trained to eat mice. Their natural prey is birds. They are arboreal snakes...that's why they have large fangs...to catch birds. Unlike most other pet snakes, these guys don't tolerate being handled for the most part.

I was thinking we could tuna fish with it too.

It would definitely catch a billfish.

I've wanted one forever - hard to choose between an Emerald Boa and the Green Tree Python, but the boas are supposed to be a little more finicky so I went with the python. I was actually surprised how receptive he is to me handling him right away. Now that his cage is set up, he's wrapped on his perch. Don't know how receptive he'll be when I try to pry him off that perch though.
I also considered a beautiful Jungle Jag Carpet Python. It was much more active. Since this one is staying in the "real" part of the house and not behind closed doors in my game room like the rattler, I figured the wife might adjust to the non-active snake a little better. In a couple months I'll go pick up the Jag Carpet and an Amazon Tree Boa.
