Michael Brown rushed officer, radio caller says

CNN
This has been alluded to in other threads - thought it deserved it's own.

Currently this is questionable b/c caller may not be a witness- and just a family friend retelling the cops story.
quote:
According to the account on KTFK, phoned in by a woman who identified herself as "Josie," the altercation began after Officer Darren Wilson rolled down his window to tell Brown and a friend to stop walking in the street.
When Wilson tried to get out of his cruiser, Brown first tried to push the officer back into the car, then punched him in the face and grabbed for his gun before breaking free after the gun went off once, the caller said.
Wilson pursued Brown and his friend, ordering them to freeze, according to the account. When they turned around, Brown began taunting Wilson, saying he would not arrest them, then ran at the officer at full speed, the caller said.
Wilson then began shooting. The final shot was to Brown's forehead, and the teenager fell two or three feet in front of Wilson, the caller said.
A source with detailed knowledge of the investigation later told CNN the caller's account is "accurate," in that it matches what Wilson has told investigators.
If true, the account represents the first telling of events from the perspective of Wilson, whose shooting of Brown has touched off nightly protests and violence in the suburban St. Louis city.

Then add that this not only supports the cops version, but is also supported by the cell video guy who is overheard basically saying he thought the cop was missing becuase he [Brown] just kept coming, and now a local witness has corobborated it as well.
Im calling it now. No charges. chaos ensues.

I think we need pics of Josie before we can truly judge her report

Well ... it said in the other thread that it had been confirmed that marijuana was in his system.
But, evidently the marijuana was not able to make him a peaceful, mellow, and good citizen.
It had to be the swisher sweets.

Wow, it finally hit me, Brown had a 9th grade flashback and thought Wilson was a QB.
Bitzing a gun is an all-time dumb act.

Yeah, I would be surprised if he doesn't have some major league drugs in his system.

This is from Friday, IIRC.
The woman in question is NOT a witness but, instead, a family friend who had been told the cop's side of the story before this became a huge national story. And pretty much everything released since then has matched what she said.

If that is true the action by Brown is so nuts it almost sound like suicide by cop.

could also be the reason he had shots to his inner right arm. put your had up to your face acting like you are blocking something. what part of you arm is exposed...

So this was not corroborated by any other witnesses?

So basically it's just the cops side of the story then

Yeah, if it's a family friend telling the cops story it's not worth much.

Upvote for starting one of the better Michael Brown threads.
This could get very interesting as more detail comes out.

Provided that is true.
I find it odd that CNN would leave that out if it was known on Friday. Oh, wait.... No I don't.
