Heading down first thing tomorrow before ride the bull. We would like to catch a few trout. I'm not real familiar with the area, any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.

I would fish the rocks on the beach at sun up. I've had pretty good success with the trout recently there. However when I do this I find it to be a lot easier just to walk out there so I don't use my yak for this application. If you bring live shrimp you stack the deck in your favor, but last weekend they were hard to come by.
