What he said.

But if your kid is any idiot, a punch to forehead may be required.

I'd tell him to hold off a few years...until he's 17 or 18. Just make sure he learns to be responsible about it.

All the kids that I saw in college that couldn't handle the drinking part of college and went overboard had parents who were overly strict about it.

Bingo. I used to thrive when I had to get creative to get drunk. It's an art to be honest.

Kids drink.

Beat his/her arse. Put the fear in them. This isn't 1980, the law will throw your arse under the jail for things you did as a ute.

I think we put entirely too much taboo on drinking in general in this country to the point where it becomes THE thing for kids to do because it's cool and such.

Everyone assumes it's a son.

I'm kinda hoping it's a girl and am waiting for the moment OP comes to the crushing realization that someone's already stuck the sneaky cock in her and she won't be wearing white at her wedding.

I am sorry but if you catch your 15 yr old drinking on a Tuesday, especially when school just got back in session, you NEED to flip the frick out!

Step 1: Don't ask for teen drinking advice on the OT.

Also you don't want your kid to be that loser who can'take handle his booze when he's a senior in high school.

why would you LOSE it? Did you not know this day was coming, talk to him about his decision, talk to him about why it is ok for responsible drinking for adults versus children, let him know the differences. You dont have to lose it, or discipline. I am the parent of a teen, you will be amazingly suprised at their ability to understand if you just communicate why you dont want them engaging in certain behaviors.

My parents are pretty strict about this. I am sneaky ab it and I also get weed occasionally
but I'm still a 4.0 student and a good kid. (18 years old). It's not the worst thing in the world. Let him go. But I'm kinda too young to listen to.
Eta: Just in case you wanted a different perspective.

Lol...yea. i went to school with a very prominent doctors child. He came home one night to find a line of young brothers in his back yard waiting to climb up to his daughters bedroom to get his turn.

Prayers to the op.
