2012 Ryder Cup on GC

I'm watching the re-run of the final round of the 2012 Ryder Cup. Despite the outcome it was fantastic golf. Ryder Cup is one my favorite (if not most favorite) sporting events.
Watching Phil give a thumbs up and applaud the big putts Rose made in their match sums up the difference between the U.S. and European teams to me. You don't see Poulter out there cheering good US shots and putts. That dude was taking names. Hopefully the new blood on this year's team takes a more cutthroat mentality.

That Ryder Cup made my a fan of Poulter. Before, I just regarded him as a goofy dressing Brit.

I'm a huge ryder cup fan so that was one of the biggest letdowns ever for me. And I'm also a Texas fan.
Sickening. And you're right. Poulter wasn't allowing any gimmes. Crowd was jeering him for it but he DGAF.

I like seeing good competition with guys that truly love the sport and respect their fellow athletes and their achievements.

I think I'd rather rewatch 1/9/12 than the 2012 Ryder Cup. I was sicker after the Ryder Cup.

No chance, no how, no way!
I'm watching the Ryder Cup finish right now.

I had a little watching party in my room with a couple non golfing buddies, and even they we're paralyzed the rest of the afternoon. I wanted to throw up for a few hours

Maddest I have ever been after a sporting event.
Ryder Cup is my favorite event in sports.

An online sportsbook had live betting and I almost took a flyer on Europe at like +900, but couldn't do it.
That's when the odds immediately started shifting the other way.

I turned the TV off after Kaymer made that putt, and haven't avoided all Ryder Cup coverage since
