You could but are there any zaxbys in BR? Only thing keeping Popeyes from dominating canes is their worst customer service of any fast food chain.

This. I'd eat Popeyes more often probably but their customer service is awful....literally awful.
Makes me wonder what type of schooling the managers have...can't be anything more than 10th grade

canes is disgusting. I havent eaten there in years and probably one of the most perplexing questions of the modern world is how they stay busy at most locations.
At least here in Opelousas, we know what good fried chicken is and that shithole is always empty.

I'm a Popeyes fan but it's not cheap either.
Dollar dark meat at Church's is a deal.

I got Canes a couple weeks ago and got a tender about that size. They just keep getting smaller.
They used to be as big as a chicken breast back in the day![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconwah.gif)

Easy answer. It's delicious.

Protip:
Go to Pluckers for chicken tenders. Theirs are still monster size and cooked perfectly.
The last 2-3 times I've had canes, the tenders have been overcooked and rubbery. I'll probably never go back for that reason coupled with having similar experiences as other posters with feeling like complete shite after I eat there.
I don't know if my body is changing or if their product is changing, but it never made me feel so terrible when I was still in college and ate it all the time.

It's fried chicken. You are supposed to feel like shite. How many times have you gotten up and said " I've got that triathlon today. Pasta? Nah...I need fried chicken for fuel."
ETA: I'd probably eat the chicken.

You really don't know?

I mean, I'm pretty sure it is the quality of the food / preparation of the food that is changing in a negative way.
Regardless I'm done w/ Cane's. I think they got too big, too fast and the brand is really suffering as a result.

I think the food is as good as it was 15 years ago and I'm pretty sure the preparation has changed minimally. Try eating a large pizza like you probably did as a drunk college kid and tell me they are cooking pizza differently these days.

I eat like complete shite, and nothing makes me feel the way Canes does, so explain that

To be fair, though, I just think chicken tenders are so boring. I have never ordered chicken tenders on any other restaurant menu, so I certainly have no desire to visit a restaurant that serves only that.
Always found it odd that the place got so successful selling only 1 item.

I find it funny that the tender closest to the slaw has been half eaten.
Definitely no bias in this thread.
