Back several years ago in the Spurrier - Meyer date range and UF ruled the roost and Bama was in the shite cellar who did you complain about. Everybody was sick and tired of hearing about the Gators. Bottom line - if you win you get the lions share of the attention.

I was afraid of that since ESPN is a partner and Slive has no balls. Having watched a lot of the Big Ten Network up here I can tell that it is balanced in that the teams that are winning or making news get the appropriate amount of attention. On their nightly news show and their preview and post-game shows the most attention is paid to the games that are the most meaningful.

You only get UM and Ohio State lovefests when it's warranted and if Michigan State is playing Wisconsin and it happens to be the best game of the week it gets that type of attention and Michigan playing Indiana and Ohio State playing Illinois gets the back burner that it deserves that week.

I think the BTN goes out of its way to be balanced. The conference office plays a big role in the network and Fox which is the partner takes a back seat. I'm afraid the SECN will be nothing but a what's best for ESPN network.

Seven years ago other SEC teams were sick of the LSU love fest. That's what winning does for you.

I agree with what someone else said.. win more and we'll get more attention. Especially winning national championships.

Bunch of insecure little dicks in here. We get better treatment on ESPN etc than most and not worse treatment than anyone. A;ways talking about Bama all the time. I'm talking about this board. Not ESPN. fricking pathetic.

The Network hasn't even launched yet. What the hell are you talking about? Take a walk and cool off, bub.

Back in the early 2000's it was necessary to pump the sec. Strength of schedule was so important. Remember when Auburn went undefeated and didn't get considered for the championship? Never happen again. We don't need to get behind the sec anymore. We have proven it!

I work full time so the only time I will be watching the SEC net is for an LSU game. Otherwise, it don't matter one way or the other.

What about when they start airing the weekly Les Miles radio show? Bet you'll watch then. What about on Monday afternoon, when they show a replay of LSU/Miss St? Bet you'll watch then. What about when they one day air a special on Kevin Faulk? Bet you'll watch then.

People talking stupid shite like they won't watch the SEC N are retarded.

I actually have very little interest in the SEC network. I was going to use it as a bargaining chip with directv, but I've waited too late. It's through espn right? frick that.

Exactly. You would have heard hardly anything 10 years ago. In the 90s, it would have been all UT and Florida. Win and you get attention. Not that hard to figure out. And the network hasn't even launched yet. Some people here just worry about Bama too much.

Posted by Message LSUcrawfish SEC network is already a joke I was really fired up about the SECN and looking forward to LSU getting some nice pub. But the hand writing is on the wall. The SEC network is going to be a gump love fest. Just from what I see the way this plays out. I am already sick of all the gump talk. The sad part is its only gone to get worse. Just like slime and the SEC front office is run by gumps,so will the SECN.

Really have no interest in who they hype up, I just want to see all the games.

Watching more SEC football is what I hope to do with the SECN, if Direct TV picks it up,this fall. I do understand some of the angst Tiger fans have listening to Paul Finebaum. When his lips are moving, my TV is on mute. Because I'm an unapologetic LSU fan.

They kinda deserve the coverage.

Plus, it's not disproportionate to the amount of attention Bama gets on TD. Bama is constantly discussed and mentioned on an LSU forum.

Went to Lsu but have lived in Al. for 37 years with job. As long as Silve is Sec com. & Paul is on the air this will never change. They are so locked on to Saban's balls they can't see the forest for the trees.
