I can picture a girl deciding after a few minutes with him that she didn't want it.

Article said they talked on the couch then she invited him in her room. After just meeting in tinder. A few minutes prior.

Eta: I 100% believe you dude is a creep and is probably guilty.

Yeah...I doubt this was her first time doing this.
Not that it makes forcible assault right...it's just strange.

She was obviously ready to do the deed. Being led to the bedroom is pretty much the final straw.

He probably is a dumbass.

Be pretty damning if he erased his also...she says he made her delete hers so he must have done the same. That would tell me she is being honest.

Bottom line is, I don't know the guy or the truth to the story so I'm not throwing stones.

It just sucks that without knowing anything about this story it's easy for Internet passerbys to cast judgment.

Leaving a bar in college woman I barely know asks me to go home with her...would not give it up just wanted to dry hump. I rationalized by saying maybe she was on her period.

A few weeks later she asks me again.,.same results.

The 3rd time she asked I declined.

Some women are teases.

Internet passersby are quick to cast judgement to both parties, because the internet is an immoral place. don't condemn him until the investigation is through, don't slut shame this girl unless/until he is found innocent.

And I'm not even a feminist.

We worked together for a summer. Don't construe this as me saying he is definitely guilty, but I want it on the record that he is creepy AF, and doesn't take social cues like the rest of us on top of that. The part where I said she's lucky she isn't dead is more of a general statement about inviting strange men into your apartment than about Jake specifically. I'm sure he has some kind of condition. I would not feel safe alone with him if I were female.

Good info. thanks for sharing

I'm a bit late to the party here, but this story reeks of bullshite.

Why would he make her delete text messages off of her phone? Did he tell her he was going to rape her before she invited him over? Something tells me she didn't want those text messages on her phone and this was a good way to have a reason for why they are not there.

This, this, this.

It's the fair, reasonable thing. I'd consider that true feminism, but since "feminism" is a bad word, you can call it "equalism".

Well it appears that homeboy is a ducking weirdo and I may have jumped the gun. However, chick is literally asking for something like this to happen by inviting a guy from tinder into her bedroom. Not saying she deserved it or it even really was rape, but it was a really stupid decision on her part and hopefully girls learn a lesson from this.

I think the OT's reaction to this has been pretty terrible. A lot of posters assumed she was full of shite, just because she is a slut

You ever hear the story of the boy who cried wolf? Because that's the way I feel about chick's that claim rape these days, it's not my fault, it's the fault of all the chick's that have made false claims over the years.

A stone's throw from tigerland. This could just as easily have happened after a couple shots at Fred's.

Yeah Tinder really has very little to do with it.
