Lulz at the people saying NO has a European feel...
It does. This is pointed out by lots of Europeans who visit. What other city in the U.S. feels anything like Europe, specifically France?

Having lived in Memphis, it has a shred of what New Orleans has too offer. My Memphis friends are among the least worldly and 'cultured' people I know

Downtown Los Angeles looked a lot like Cozumel Mexico to me. Same shops and signage.
A lot of that is going to be gone in 20 years. They are gentrifying that area...

Miami is about as diverse as anywhere in the country.
I don't get a foreign country feel here, but definitely a mixing pot. Local south Floridians, new York new jersey transplants, Cuban, south American, European, hell sunny isles is half Russian and Boca is half Israeli.
South florida and Miami is just a total mix. Which sorta makes money and looks the common language.

Azusa, CA (and a few other Los Angeles suburbs).
English is not the first or second language.

Oklahoma doesn't seem to be very American because of all the Indian heritage and such. Sure, they may be called "Natives," but they all came over from Mongolia via the Bering Strait during the last ice age, so that place has a very Mongolian feel to it.

It's probably not the most diverse, but it is the most foreign city in America.
Miami takes groupthink to a whole new level so I find that most have assimilated into a douche stew. It's by and large dominated by the Latino cultures and there's hardly any Asians at all. I think the different Asian cultures are more diverse than the Latin cultures. So in that regard Id probably consider NYC and some California cities to be more diverse, including Sacramento which is the most integrated city I have ever been to.

Has Helen, GA been mentioned? Theyve made that town in north Georgia a German town. So, other than the obvious large, border cities in America, I'd say that one.

Miami without a doubt. You are in Latin America when there.

Have any of you been a white man in Laredo yet?
Laredo is 88% white according to wikipedia. But I know that in the US when people speak Spanish they automatically become non-white.

A lot of that is already gone. It's going to be all gone in 5 years or so. It's gentrifying (white peoples moving in) like crazy.

In this thread...
People who compare cities to foreign countries they have never been to.
Cozumel doesn't count.
