fricking shite. Driving through it right now it has got to be the most depressing place on earth. Only thing keeping me going is that I'm almost to Colorado by far the worst state I've been to. I don't even want to stop to fill up but have to. I even went to Lawerence, Topeka and Manhattan. This place blows.

Eastern Colorado isn't much better.

Don't lie, you know you stopped for a Quarter Pounder at the McDonald's in the median...

It's certainly a boring drive. I've heard good things about Lawrence and Manhattan though, what didn't you like about them?

I'll be in Colorado Springs then boulder before going to Moab Utah and then Yellowstone. Not gonna be in eastern Colorado long.

I once spent about a month in Wichita for work. About 1 week in, I was asking myself why I was so miserable. I looked up susicide rates and they were number 10 in the nation.

Surprisingly, KC's wealthiest suburbs are on the Kansas side.
Other than that though, yeah. Dying state.

I did only drive through and it was at 7 am in Lawrence then 830ish in manhattan so I'm sure most of the college kids were still passed out

Are surrounding states like Nebraska and Oklahoma just as bad or worse?

Colorado goes from awesome to shitty that fast?

Kansas starts just east of Denver.

Last time I was in Nebraska I was 7 so I don't really remember but I'm sure it's about the same. Just no trees. No people. 98 degrees. Idk how anyone could actually like living here.
