In fairness, everyone who reads a Spidermantuba thread automatically shifts to the right

not that much different on here. they may not like the current GOP leadership, but the libertarians on here are far more right leaning than centrist or left leaning. the GOP is still "the home team" to them.

Ahh..disregard the arguments on world affairs or the war on drugs, everyone is on the same "side.:

According to the GOPers, a vote for Gary Johnson was a de facto vote for Obama.

My question is this:

What the hell do people expect the bent to be on a LOUISIANA forum? I'm sure if you go to a New England patriots board or Rutgers forum, their poliboard equivalent is entirely democratic.

i'm not ignoring anything, but saying there are plenty of GOPers and libertarians here isn't exactly an indicator of diversity of thought given the types of libertarians that populate this board.

the only thing i expect is open mindedness, which is in short supply here. Many on here think their way is the only way and the media has "brainwashed" all these people who don't agree with them. Or that the issues the right has had isn't with them but the fact that women are allowed to vote.

Sure there is. Just not the type you want to see. Libertarians have many issues in common with liberals just as they do comservatives.

Unfortunately some people just see two competing sides and an "us vs them" mentality and that's what is fricking up the country.

the tiger rant has a bunch of people who love miles and a bunch of people who also hate him but i wouldn't say there is diversity of fandom on that board. At the end of the day they are all LSU fans.

same thing in this situation.

Feel free to get the frick out if you're unsatisfied with the PT diversity of thought.

Not our fault that you're the retarded offspring of 5 monkeys have butt sex with a fish-squirrel.

Oh, ok. We're all Americans, so yeah....by your example there's no diversity of thought on this board, no matter how we disagree at times.

Terrible analogy. Have an Alabama fan doppleganger of Rex or Tuba and theyre gone in a new York minute. For a deep south poli board, this one has quite a bit of diversity.

Who are you again?

And why should an entire board give a frick about what some random thinks of them?

You're being an attention whore.

That example was definitely a head-scratcher. Libertarians often disagree with conservatives about the war on drugs, foreign policy, military spending, gay marriage, etc... But because they also tend to not be fans of the welfare state, they're exactly the same according to DS.

Who cares? People start this thread all the time.

Do they expect different outcomes with each thread?

Complaining that this board has a rightward slant is about as much of a waste of time as I can think of.

There are plenty of political boards on the internet. Start different names on different ones if you want to read positions from different viewpoints.

It's not complicated. I'm disappointed that I even had to post that to explain it to some of you.

Lol, if I posted what I really thought of Les Miles as an LSU fan on the rant, it would get me banned with the quickness. There's no room for criticism of LSU coaching on that board.
