Are there a lot of other SEC websites with such active political boards?

They're not all split out in multiple categories the way this site is, but almost all have some kind of off topic board.

Yeah, I've seen that. Not trying to be a homer, but TD is pretty much the best college sports message board in existence, right?

It's pretty damn good, and remaining independent has been the key, IYAM. A lot of decent boards sold out to Rrivals or one of the other paysites and lost their uniqueness.

ShaggyBevo can get on a roll and be very entertaining. Just about any board is fun to read in the midst of a meltdown.

What the hell do people expect the bent to be on a LOUISIANA forum? I'm sure if you go to a New England patriots board or Rutgers forum, their poliboard equivalent is entirely democratic.

Not really. Sports forums tend to skew conservative in general, although obviously it's more pronounced in SEC country.

College more than pro.

Kind of interesting.

It seems hard to measure this, as many democratic voters are too poor to own tvs, or they do not have time to watch sports as they are too busy working demanding shifts.

Because straight males dominate the sports fan landscape and they skew right...

Demographics. Sports fans skew white and male, which skew conservative.

Don't take my word for it, go to patsfans or scarletnation and glance for yourself. It's a little more balanced than here but still definitely right-leaning.

I'm not a Dem, but I'm definitely left leaning, and that graphic was surprising.

The use of the name kid rock already makes you the biggest douche this side of tuba playing dogs and spiders. How can you even remotely come close to criticizing folks with such a douchey name lolol..
