Damn that pillow must be just one giant load of jizz after all those years. Get a new one!

I have a couple pillows that I've had since I was very small. Probably at least 20 years. I have so many pillows though that I'm not sure for most of them. I have changed out covers and wash the covers regularly. If a pillow had any kind of bad smell or staining I would just throw away.

I keep my pillows for awhile. The pillow before the one I have now got left in a hotel room. I was so pissed at myself. I would be really pissed if my SO threw out my pillow. Sorry for your loss.

I've had the same pillow for probably close to 20 years now.

This pillow has been with me through puberty, through college, through those awkward few years after college, and been with me through marriage till my freaking wife decided that she was too disgusted by it and threw it away last night.

Thats absolutely repulsive. I'm glad she tossed it. Maybe now your house won't smell like arse.

I had mine for a long time and then read a few months ago that after 6 years 10% of the pillow's weight is dead skin and the fecal matter of mites. I went and got new pillows a few hours later.

No idea. I typically don't use pillows to sleep. I did hangs the sheets the other day to help the wife and noticed she had purchased new pillows recently though.

I'm closing in on 39 and have had the same pillow since I was at least 16. Not only that, it was one of my great aunt's pillows. There's no telling how old it is. It's a feather pillow at that, too.

My wife keeps threatening me she's going to throw it out. That would be grounds for divorce.

I've had mine for at least 10 years. It's the perfect pillow and can't find one like it anywhere.

My wife is trying to get rid of my pillow. She says it stinks like a mofo. It's one of those tempurpedic types, but I can't find another that is comfortable - and I've had a multi-level neck fusion so a comfortable pillow is as rare as the Hope diamond. And I sweat like a mofo due to meds I'm on and my love for thermal blankets. If I wake up during the night, I have to put a shirt on because my bed is too wet to lay back down on barebacked. My pillow is like a filthy sponge. And I'm not parting with it.

I have a memory foam one I've had for about 8 years. Have yet to find anything as comfortable so it's not going anywhere soon
