How do people function with that many texts going off? Would drive me crazy.

Folks who receive that many texts probably receive most of them as a part of multiple conversations that they are actively involved in, as opposed to receiving them randomly throughout the day.
I keep my phone on silent, and make a habit of checking it periodically.
I probably send/receive several hundred texts per day, and take fewer than 5 phone calls on average.

Calls maybe 1 or 2. Texts over 100. I decline most of my calls though. Everyone knows to just text me.

On average I go through over 2500 text a month and well over 5000 minutes a month so I have no clue.
