It expires today. Someone told me they fine you if you go in to renew it and it's expired

Yes.

And I don't think there's a fine for renewing after your license is expired, could be wrong about that though.

Don't wait 2 years like I did and re-take everything all over again. You should've renewed ONLINE! So damn convenient!

Go to a title transfer place, pay the extra money and be done with it in 5 minutes.

$18 is MORE than a bargain to not have to deal with any DMV.

Just renewed mine a week ago..! You can do it at any DMV in the state which you reside. You have a 10 day grace period, after that, there is a $10.00 late fee. I had to go in because I was changing my address. The total was $24.50 + $1.50 because I used my debit card.

Happy birthday. DMV is not where I'd like to spend it.

The Express at Siegen/Perkins is awesome. And you can pay $14 to get "express" service (Express at Express?). I was in/out in about 10 minutes.

I've always renewed online but in the past year or so the state changed the license ("upgraded security features")so if you have an older one you have to renew in person.

The only way you can renew online is if you get a letter from them saying so.

I was disappointed they hadn't implemented the 6-year version yet.

If you live in BR, make the 15 minute drive to the New Roads DMV, they never have anyone waiting there.

Yes. drove by Alexandria office on my birthday, pulled a number, was 50 back. Said screw that and stopped in Winnfield office on my way to Ruston. 2 workers, no line. Got done in 5 minutes.
