I see a cpl of mentions of hevi metal – I tried these a few times for late season mallards and divers and they were money. Not nearly as expensive as hevishot but killed them dead – no cripples.
I tried blackcloud BBs for Canadas and was not impressed – could be the gun/choke combo

Noticeable difference when I started shooting hevi metal. Much less cripples. It's expensive shot...which sucks...but I wouldn't pay for it if I didn't really believe it worked.

I am a strong believer in hevi metal as well. It really increases your dead duck %. Much less cripples or even worse fat mallards that you pepper with the cheap stuff and they fly away!

Why all the heavy shot for teal? No. 5 to 7.5, 2.75", is sufficient.

Bought one of my buds 2 cases of kent #4's, he mainly hunts out of dularge. By seeing the amount of people that use #2's for big ducks, should I return them and get those instead?
