NYC and LA are a couple of the obvious answers.

But I'd go Houston. You can find great Mexican, Cajun, and BBQ. That's all I need.

Houston for the widest variety of food from all over, but that idea will get shite on for lack of "culture"

Seattle is the best for seafood IMO. Great Asian culture also

Chicago is up there. So many options that are incredible pretty much anywhere in the city

NYC of course.

I know LA has great food but I haven't been. I do love San Diego's seafood and healthy options though

As for other countries I have only had food that are staples of their culture. I did love Jamaica though

Ending a question with a preposition is acceptable and grammatically correct, you can't start a sentence with a preposition.

ETA: Eh, actually both are acceptable. If the sentence begins with a preposition you're supposed to mark of the prep phrase with a comma. Old Latin rules, I used to be a stickler for stuff like that too.

What does Vegas have to offer?

Serious question. I was only there for about 36 hours but I remember looking for food and only finding Asian and donuts.

How is Baton Rouge not on this list - haven't you seen our thousand greek/lebaneese restaurants, take out chinese places, or golden corral?

In the USA I agree with Mark Twain

"In America, there’s New York, New Orleans, and San Francisco. Everything else is Cleveland."

Outside of USA for me it has been;
-Hong Kong (Street food is what I envision Heaven to be like)
-Lyon, France (Can not imagine food is better anywhere else..Simply the best)
-Lucca, Italy (Ate about 15 rustic meals and all were foodgasmic)
-Giardini Naxos, Sicily (best fresh seafood I've ever had)

San Francisco

I have not been yet but I hear it is very similar to Seattle. Great pacific NW seafood with a large mix of Asian cultures
