Thanks for being the subjectively objective voice of the Soccer Board
Now, could you kindly go frick yourself. I can have as much fun supporting whatever team I choose

Since you (or pretty much anyone here) have no traditional ties to European teams, it's really not possible for you not to be a bandwagon fan....but who cares, just pick who you like

Liking a style of play or a player is the easiest and probably the best way to find a team. Those are legitimate reasons.
It just so happens that typically the best teams are the most fun to watch too.

A player may get you hooked, but they are gone in a blink of an eye... Contracts don't mean shite in this sport...
Just watch and give it some time...

After van persies "flying Dutch Mans" goal how could you not want to watch him play regsurdlesss of what team he's on? I'll be watching now for sure.
My kids and wife have enjoyed as well. Even built the kids soccer goals. Wife digs no commercials.
Win win

Sunderland. This board needs a second black cats fan. We've had our differences on these forums (uf/lsu, crossfit, etc) but on the Gus bus we are brothers.
Eta:no way in hell will anyone consider you a bandwagon fan.

Fulham fan, here, even if they're relegated. They were the first team to take real chances with American playerS. Yes, there have been Americans in top-level English, German and Italian leagues, but not in the numbers that FFC had them.
One match in 2007, I think it was, by game's end Kasey Keller was in goal, Carlos Bocanegra in front of him, Eddie Johnson, Clint Dempsey, and Fulham Legend Brian MacBride, were all on the pitch. No other club in any league outside of MLS could say that they had as many. I like my choice, even if it will be difficult to be a league down, this year.

Research team histories man. That's why I am a Liverpool fan. I didn't even know who any of their players were before I started watching last year. You'd be surprised at how cool some of the traditions are of each team.

I was leaning to Blackpool a few seasons back when they made their unlikely EPL appearance. Had Adu been able to stick with them, I may have given them another shot. They lost my favorite coach and player, so I sorta just started watching just to enjoy the matches again.
