The system "failure" was Dwight wants to sit in the low post, pau is stuck at the FT line shooting 17ft jumpers and neither likes to play pick and roll
Pau has to be under the basket

They don't work together at all just like Dwight and asik didn't
Pau was best with odom because odom likes to play high low from the FT Line

and Pau is such a better shooter than Asik.
Jones is not a stretch 4 by any means. He is a smaller Pau. Pau would be a big upgrade. We aren't getting him, but if we did it would be a great get.

Defense was top 7-8 last year til kelvin Sampson left then if fell to 12 in the last month after he took he UH job. Hollins would've been great and there was interest before he took the BKN job.
