Since women are initiating 70% of divorces (90% if they have a college degree) so you should ask them.

stay together for the kids even if they aren't compatible and may divorce if they're empty nesters.
When you realize something, the kids are gone...and so is your relationship since it missed nuturing from being consumed with trying to be a good parent. The parents mean well and think they're doing what's best- and really, they are- just over-looking THEIR relationship.

Let's face reality, people stayed together into their retirement out of necessity.
It's difficult to have a relationship with anyone for fifty, sixty years. People get bored, tired of the mundane bullshite. Life becomes a job to some and people feel dead, numb.
The demands placed on the US labor force are immense, especially when you consider the dual income society at work. It's rigorous, and it fricks with many.

Yet statistics show men hang in there. Women do not. The numbers do not lie and they are what they are.

And wtf? Who does this?
Received one of these emails on my phone while at a big business dinner last year. There were like 20 people at the table, all from different companies and four of us got the email at the same time. I could tell who else was reading it just by the looks on their faces. The lady was in advertising sales and did business with each of us but none of us knew that the others knew her. We all kind of looked at each other for a minute and then just fell out laughing. We ended up having to explain to everyone else what was going on. Really strange.

Yea, they hang in there because they are usually the one that gets caught screwing up. The woman has enough bs, knows the divorce will probably end in her favor, and goes through with it. Plus, if she's still attractive she can bait another man without much effort if she so desires.

Hey, no one got that idea from me. That place is really of the devil, if there is one. Facebook is bad enough with wives looking to hook up with old high school flames, but ashleymadison just cuts straight to the business. I've seen it wreck more than one marriage.

Life is short. Have an affair.®
Nice motto.

I can see this, life is much better for everyone with a wife that doesn't work

I'm not. I think it's a catchy phrase. It's from the ashleymadison website
