Hopefully it'll stay strong in the 90% range. It's fantastic. Certified Fresh.

I remember seeing the first (well, first of the new set) one and really enjoying it but for some reason, I'm not excited to see this one.

But if the reviews stay in the 90% range, I guess it'll end up getting me.

I see that much CGI in a trailer, and I automatically lose interest. Didn't see the first one either.

Still very early.

yeah, but most of the reviews are pretty glowing. I wasnt planning to see this one in theaters, but i probably will now

In the annals of sequels, Dawn is to Rise of the Planet of the Apes what The Empire Strikes Back was to Star Wars -- it's that much better.

Andy Serkis and Toby Kebbell deliver stand out performances that will ensure Dawn a place in movie history.

quote:

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes isn't just a great time at the theater, but a genuinely great movie without a single dull moment.

quote:

'Dawn' is not just a good genre movie or a good summer movie. It's a great science-fiction film, full-stop, and one of the year's very best movies so far.

quote:

Smart, emotionally deep, exciting, beautiful to behold, and culturally relevant, Dawn is quite simply a great film.

only 16 reviews counted way to early to tell.

but with the crap that has come out recently it will be nice to go see a movie with good ratings from RT.

It looks awesome. I am a huge fan of the original movies. Even the awesomely bad ones. I have the box set.

I really liked the new version. The previews for this one look even better.

I'm so excited for this movie, but I read an article saying that it has a strong gun control message.

that would make me a sad panda

Wow, surprising.

First one sucked. I made it to the end, but it was about as mediocre as it gets.

I'll have to check this one out with that kind of score though.
