Bethesda set for 'Action-adventure RPG' announcement at Gamescom - Fallout 4 reveal imminent?

A listing has cropped up on the official website of next month’s Gamescom convention which seems to point towards an ‘Action-adventure & RPG’-related announcement from Fallout and The Elder Scrolls publisher Bethesda Softworks.
Nestled firmly within a bevy of announcements and reveals the listing is slight but could point towards something much bigger. Headed by the title of ‘’Bethesda Softworks ZeniMax Germany GmbH’’, the listing’s profile doesn’t give too much away, despite saying that the showing is ‘’Action-adventure, role-playing game’’-orientated. Whether or not it’s a fully-fledged announcement or an update on existing titles remains to be seen.
That said, it’s been some four years since we’ve had an entry in the much-loved Fallout series – a stretch too long, we say. Having been conspicuously absent on the announcement front at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, it’s now prime time for publisher Bethesda Softworks to unleash the next iteration in its seminal sci-fi RPG series. One thing’s for sure, the publisher isn’t short on sequel potential for its smash hit IPs and there’s no shortage of fans that will lap up whatever eventually crops up.
Of course, Fallout’s only one of two major series that Bethesda Game Softworks has developed over the course of the last 10-or-so years; the procession usually involves alternating between that of Fallout and the Elder Scrolls – with the latter getting the most love recently, what with the release of The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim and The Elder Scrolls Online.
Crucially, one would think that if the announcement was to be Elder Scrolls Online-related then the listed entity alongside Bethesda Softworks would be ZeniMax’s online subsidiary, ZeniMax Online Studios, which deals solely with the MMO-orientated The Elder Scrolls title.
Gamescom runs from August 13-17 in Cologne, Germany. Are you looking forward to what Bethesda has to show at this year’s event? Let us know in the comments section below.

Please! I'm ready for another one. I hope they don't decide to go the MMO route.

I fricking wish, but I'm done getting my hopes up about another fallout game

I really hope it's less buggy than New Vegas. I enjoyed that game, but it had some major flaws.

Not gonna get excited. Even if it is Fallout it'll probably be some 10 second teaser.

Back up for some new Vegas or wasteland action. Lord I miss it.
Rummaging through the ruins of civilization while listening to some of the best music ever selected for a video game has been one of my most enjoyable gaming experiences.
Now this thread seals it.

^This. If this announcement deals with Elder Scrolls online or their new horror game I'm going to be pissed. If it's not Fallout related or an Elder Scrolls for the new generation systems, I'm going to be upset (because they really care about me being upset ).
But if it's not fallout, it probably will be about Elder Scrolls online for Xbox One/PS4 because I want to say I remember reading that they postponed the roll out for the new systems to a TBD date.

So excite. I'm convinced it's F4. It seems logical.

I would probably not buy another Bethesda game is this happens. I don't want to play RPGs online, I want to take my time and play them how I want to play them. ESO was just another bland MMO taking the place of an amazing single player series following in the footsteps of SWTOR.
I would love another Fallout game on the new consoles or even another single person Elder Scrolls game (don't have my hopes up on it).

Look what happened with Elder Scrolls online. That went real well.
