I agree and disagree. Yes, you have a lot of idiots that think feminists are nothing but women that don't shave and bull dykes. That being said, a ton of the posters that crack jokes like "... sandwiches/kitchen" are obviously just cracking jokes and would be appalled if that actually happened in real life.
Hardcore Feminists think every man is a misogynist, and guys from /redpill (pro-man movement?) think every girl is a power hungry piece of shite. I honestly think most of us fall in the middle.

I don't think that's true at all. Sexism dominates TD and is completely ignored by the admins. What would happen on here if someone posted something blatantly racist but claimed they were "just joking"? They would probably be permabanned. If it's something sexist though they get 10-15 up votes.

I see plenty of blatently racist jokes on TD, I also see a ton of jokes about all cops shooting dogs, posters making fun of oil field operators, trashing government employees, hating on the poor, and many other things.

First, sexism doesn't equate to racism. Women are not a minority despite their rhetoric and were not systematically oppressed by Democrats for four centuries.
Second, their positions go from exaggerated to utterly ridiculous in most areas and deserve the criticism it gets.
If someone made a comment mocking an utterly ridiculous position made by a black person, no one should bat an eye. Shaming stupidity shouldn't be speaker dependent.
