I'll have to check this out. It looks like it's only a couple blocks away from my campus

Clermont lounge is definitely an experience.

if you are ever in Vegas, check out Hakkassan for the sheer size and the amount of OT 9 and 10s.

Another vote for Soggy Dollar Bar. We absolutely loved that place and had the time of our lives.

Duffy's Love Shack was fun too.

We will be checking out the Soggy Peso later this year.

Ones that I have visited that I recomend...

Silver Dollar Saloon - Leadville, Co. OLLLLDDD BAR. Frequented by Doc Holliday and others. Really cool spot.

Minturn Saloon - same as above. But you need to go there after doing the minturn mile down from Vail mountian. THen go have a margarita there. Locals tradition.

The Green Mill - Chicago, il. Bar owned by Al Capone and Machine Gun McGurn. HAs not changed over the years. Perfect spot to catch a drink before or after a show at the Riviera/Aragon. (which is something else I highly recommend.

Carols Pub - Chicago il. You walk in and you are back in the south. They even had chicken wire on the stage where they play southern rock/country music. Great experience.

Kingston Mines is a good recommendation.

BIlly Goat is fun too.

In Tuscaloosa...
Gallettes on a gameday cannot be beat. I usually make a note to go there for a shot or four before going to stadium.

Gurene Hall is really cool too. It's the oldest honky tonk in Texas and remains unchanged. Coldest beer I've had around here too.

Lafittes Blacksmith shop on a Saturday night when Mike is on the keys. Oldest bar in the country.

He'll take requests all night as long as its not Elton John or Billy Joel.

I can sit there all night. Ive seen me do it.

Yep. And from most of the responses here, most people don't know what it is...

I saw a bouncer chunk a piece of watermelon at a stripper during an argument there. She retaliated by chasing him around trying to hit him with a stripper shoe

Collettes New Orleans. You won't forget it

Go to Raxx in Erwinville and get in a fight

There is a bar that is half of an old camper at this trailer park on Angola Rd

VFW in Kentwood and drink water moccasins

Freds on gameday

I could keep going, but I forget half of the fricking places I've been to. I'd have to look at a map, and I'm not that dedicated to this thread right now

I went to a cool one in DC, but I was by myself and drunk, so it wasn't that great.

But it was four or five levels with different music in each level. $40 cover and $10 drinks.
Good music though. A dude got mouthy near the coat check and I thought there was going to be a fight but I got bounced out the back. It was already 2am, but then it was 3am because of the stupid time change and the subways closed at 3 instead of 4 which would make sense since there was no 2-3am. so I had to walk two miles back to my hotel drunk.

Great night.

Platinum Plus. I was there the night a bouncer got shot in the gut with a shotgun. My buddy and I had just walked in, thought about setting close to door then decided to set back toward the couches. Right as we sat down shotgun blast's blew out the glass on either side of the door right where we almost sat. We hauled arse out through the strippers dressing room and got the f out. The bouncer had broken up a fight between a stripper and her boyfriend. Boyfriend came back and shot bouncer. Last time I went. Figured it was a sign.

I think one of those below zero ice bars would be cool to try once.
