I don't see why I couldn't. I mean if I saw her on the street, I think I could easily walk up to her, try and chat her up, and then kick her arse. Unless she has bodyguards or something.

But then if I did succeed in kicking her arse, it would make it really awkward. Because she would be all like "Why did this random dude just kick my arse?" but then she'd think "I like his confidence, maybe he likes my butt. Maybe we should sex."

And then I'd bang her. There would be no fighting between us at any point though. Because she would win.

A 240+ pound male, in competitive athletic shape would have a tremendous strength advantage over a 135 pound female champion MMA fighter.

There are a number of IRL scenarios where he would be able to overpower and, perhaps even kill her, with his bare hands - assuming neither of them are armed at all.

In an MMA fight, she would have a much better chance, because she would be prepared, warmed up, facing her opponent (who is untrained, as per your hypo), etc.

On the other hand, I've always subscribed to the theory that the advantage in any fight (fist, street, knife, gun, tank, etc.) lies primarily in the combatant most ready to fight when it starts. Her training and experience allow me to see a number of IRL scenarios where she prevails, perhaps seriously injuring or killing the 240 pound man as well.

A good large fighter typically prevails over a smaller fighter of equivalent skill. Once the smaller fighter has a skill advantage - the size/strength is still factored into the equation, but it becomes less important to the outcome.

I don't know. I have never seen the woman fight.

I'm 6'5" and 225. Even with the strength and weight advantages, I think the reach and leverage advantages are more important. That ability to take a hit and keep your wits would be paramount when fighting a trained fighter.

I will say that in college when I was a bit stronger and leaner but about the same total weight I had a 128 lb female black belt in Taekwondo who wanted to spar and it took mere minutes to subdue her each time. She landed hits, bloodied my nose, managed to kick me in the chin once, but ultimately ended up underneath me struggling.

I'm in good shape (for a 53 year old male) and I'm a Godan in Karate, but no, I could not beat her. Truth.
