Peche and eat are my two favorites on your list

I bet your pants fit you tighter when you leave Nola than when you arrive.

What do you guys recommend at EAT? I didn't see anything that really stood out.

Have you thought about adding Sylvain to the list? The location is so perfect for an afternoon on Royal street. Happy hour into dinner is perfect there.

Sylvain is definitely on my "to-do" list -- won't be able to make it this trip, though.

I don't see the crispy goat on the Herbsaint menu, but if they have it, I'll get it.

Went to Ralph's for lunch today and was very impressed, great food and service. Hit up Barcadia for dinner and you guys were right -- I should've skipped it.

We're at Eat right now, then headed to SoBou, then Peche tonight. Haven't eaten anything here yet but our server sucks

Edit: Didn't really care for Eat. The butter beans n' shrimp were good but the other stuff was pretty lackluster. At SoBou now.

Just finished up at SoBou, not good at all. The food was blah and the cocktail I ordered, which was on their website, the bartender didn't even know how to make.

Hopefully Peche will deliver tonight

OP
If only you were warned......

Sobou is worth grabbing a cocktail at but I wouldn't bother eating there.

Don't worry, Peche won't disappoint.

True, but they also told me to skip Ralph's and go to Eat -- not good advice based on my experiences.

EAT has a better reputation on this board then it deserves. IMO

It's not a destination place, but it serves a purpose for drunk fricks who are in the neighborhood.
