Who's going to be our new SF?!
Posted on 6/29/14 at 2:38 pm to oncealurker
Chandler Parsons because some guy on Twitter says so

Pels FA list would be nice
Maybe a list of SF FAs from around the league?

Monty loves defense so we will finally give Aminu the max deal he deserves.

Not a lot of money to do much.
One thing is for certain, if Demps doesn't get a legit 3 and brings in anymore 1s or 2s, we'll definitely be the laughing stock of the NBA.

Well we have to do something. We are over the cap and don't have enough players, I believe.

Most probably why the Asik trade hasn't been approved.
What are the chances that D. Granger takes a "hometown" contract @ $6 to $7M? He's going to get a haircut on his asking price...that's for sure.
I like the idea of having a seasoned vet on the court with all of the young talent. Just throwing it out there to get some opinions.

That's what I'm thinking. They have no choice, really, but to do something.

Even if it wasn't due to making the Asik trade work, do people really think we'd start the season with Babbitt and Miller as our SFs?
A move will be made to have an above average starting SF, IMO.

I just want an average one, honestly.

Danny Granger doesn't deserve 6 to 7 million.

The Plan: Sign CJ miles to a 4 year deal with the MLE. Guy plays average D and can shoot the 3 at a pretty decent rate (39% from 3-pt land last season). Wait for EG to expire, then get a real starter and move CJ to the bench --> Win the Ship.
Get on it Demps.
Get on it Demps.

I fully expect them to resign Aminu
Posted on 6/29/14 at 4:38 pm to NorthshoreTiger76
Is Aminu any good on defense?
Posted on 6/29/14 at 4:45 pm to LosLobos111
Parsons + Asik for ryno and 1st rounder
Ship off rivers and eric gordon for a bag of peanuts
become portland 2.0, no bench depth at all

If it weren't for that pesky shooting and dribbling, Aminu would be a pretty good basketball player.
