Love the analysis man, looks like they are about even over 20 yards with Peterson taking the edge.
I would love to see other numbers with some of the other track guys. I think Holliday still takes it since his races are the 60 and 100. He scores with the elite in the NFL (Peterson) in the 10-20 range, but I can just about guarantee you that no one could catch him over 40+. Brazell and Carter were "longer" track guys who may have taken longer to get to top speed than Trindon (neither were faster in the 100 at LSU), but could maintain the their top longer.
I would love to see all three of their peak speeds compared.
Now, if we talk quickness on the field, I say you cannot get much better than Skylar Green in year 1 and 2.

Would've love to see Jeryl Brazil around for a little longer damn he was fast! At that high school thing in Oregon the fastest man final he made the dude raceing him quit. PP7 was fast too only guy to out run him was scam newton. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Icongeauxtigers.png)

Gary Pegues has to be in the mix. How many kicks did he block coming from the edge. He played RB, WR, and DB. They needed help all over those days and they didn't utilize him at the right position. I bet he is still faster then most skill players we have. Spent a few years coaching at College and HS levels and now sells SPEED training equipment for schools.

eddie kennison won the NFL fastest man contest at least once, maybe twice.

I was in school and a friend of Slip Watkins and Harvey Williams. Slip was fast but Xavier Carter was the best World Class sprinter LSU had as his time of 19.66 in the 200M or similar proves that

IMO it's got to Trindon holiday...I have never seen a returner be on his own 30 and everyone know in the stadium he's gone...
No one ever seemed to have an angle on him when he broke free...
