You will find more detailed information if you search the forum but for ECON: Shaughnessy and FIN: VINES. Neither have proctored test or final exams, however I took them in the summer semester.

ACCT 701--did bad on the final as well.
Went from an A to a C.
Mainly because my webcam went out when I was almost done with the final. I messaged the proctor and they said to restart my computer. I took all my answers down thinking it would reload the same exam....NOPE.
It gave me a completely different final. I basically had to take 2 finals and rushed through it because I had work stuff I needed to do. I emailed him about it but I dont know what he can do.
Had never had webcam issues anytime during proctored exams.
Sucks.

Craigp --Theres a rounding adjustment that was entered in "Grades" in Moodle today.
Im not sure if that is a curve on the final or the extra points because I took the exam on Friday (excel loading problem).

Looking to take first class in the program. ISDS 705 is open with Lin or Darban. Would anyone have any comments or suggestions which one to take? I did see the number of open seats jump up to 18 for Lin as if a number of people dropped out. Thx

ACCT 701 what on earth happened to the grades? When I finished my final I had a 90, Then it went to a 92, now it is showing a 98?

@zachtiger....check your email. Based on that graph, the class did not do well on the final. What baffles me, is that a couple people still ended up with a F or D even with the huge adjustment.

That curve is insane. Interesting that so many had issues with the course. I’m pretty sure I know which ratios he was talking about—I ended up with those at about question 5 or so and when I couldn’t get my answers to match, my confidence in what I understood tanked.

I thought it was funny how he said that there was no disconnect between the material presented and the test, yet everyone bombed the final?? Also - he was surprised most people didn’t take the practice or spent very little time on it......I wonder why!?? Number one, we had an assessment and final in the same week, so there wasn’t any spare time to spend, also people obviously realized he would throw curves on the final that weren’t on the practice - so it was pointless.

Need some input on the dreaded MKT 701. Im considering taking it now because I will start a new job in January that will require a lot more hours and work.
There are 3 professors available with James, Darrat, and Albers. I have seen posts on James and Darrat but not Albers. Has anyone taken her or is the first term she has taught the course.
Could someone send me the syllabus for MKT 701 with Darrat? Would like to see how everything is weighted since I read that the tests are terrible. My email is bj_038@yahoo.com. Thank you in advance!

These sessions are so short and fast that professors shouldnt feel inclined to give a final.

Well, and what I did was review my practice exam, I didn't go back through Proctorio to do it. Why would I? That's an extra pain in the butt for no reason.
