Thanks to both of you for the replies!
I'm taking Econ next and it seems like Shaugnessy is the known entity. I don't have a background and I hear its a tough class. Is there another recommendation for a professor who is easier?

Currently taking FIN 701 with Choi and I have gotten 100's on everything besides Test 2, I got a 95. Very very easy. Study questions are pretty much the same questions on the tests.

@jvanmol I was wondering that myself. O'Donnell said he was going out of town on Thursday and wouldn't be available...Maybe he is running late with his return trip.
I just signed up for Fin701 w/ Choi...the only choice in Spring AP2. Does he have a Final? Are his tests Proctored? Any other input? Thanks.
@jvanmol - I too am wondering what the MADM725 quiz is like. Let me know if you hear anything and I'll do the same.

@Iltl4hlm2 I'm looking for some feedback on MADM725 as well. Let me know if you come across anything and I'll do the same. Not sure what to expect on the first Exam - the readings are loaded with dates and facts.

Currently taking MADM725 Resort/Casino Mgmt. Would like some insight into Module 1 Exam this week. Lots of reading and facts, but no idea what he will test on - hopefully not all of it...
Would Like feedback on BADM790 Biz Analytics:
Final? Proctored? Level of difficulty & time required?
Thank you.

Looking Forward: I still need to take ECON705 and FIN701 this Spring.
I don't like Proctored Tests and I don't like a comprehensive Final Exam.
Based on that who should I choose:
ECON: Shaughnessy or White ?
FIN: Vines or Choi ?
Who has Proctored tests? Who has a Final Exam? I know they change up so any recent experience/overview would be greatly appreciated.

Finishing up MADM 701 with Kungu. Pretty easy class. Counting on an A. Read, write, take exam.
Pretty straightforward. Compared to 760 with Meeks it is certainly less enlightening but I still learned a good bit.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Yes I also agree. Kungu was fair, straight forward, and a pretty easy class. Write 1 or 2 papers per week, take 1 test per week, no Final. I enjoyed the material - some of it was the same as I learned in my job training so it is relevant.

I haven't heard any recommendations for the best prof. for FIN 701. Did anyone have a good professor??
Hi Cin8,
After reviewing all the info from you & m123 I'm really having second thoughts... I really felt led to believe that the experience was more exciting than sitting in a classroom, staying in a dorm-like setting, and riding the bus. lol I also thought it was an MBA level program with trips to company offices for in-depth hands-on learning, and hotel like accommodations. I can't stay an extra week due to my work schedule so I won't see much else really. Thanks to both of you for the candid insight.

Hi Cin8 & m123,
That is excellent information from both. I am signed up to go and very much look forward to the trip. Besides the 2 week trip and its coursework, is there anything else that you had to do prior to or after the trip related to the class and your grade? Or is this just a 2-week Course and I get a long break until the next course?
