Holy hell ProctorU is the worst fricking program/website on God's green earth. After an hour of waiting on a proctor and her closing every book and pdf i had i finally started the isds test.

My experience with ProctorU wasn't so bad. Took about 15 minutes to set up. Once set up, I was able to take the test without any interruptions.
Hopefully my future experiences go as easy as this one.

Log in at your exam time. I was on the page 15minutes early and just minimized it and read emails waiting for the timer.
For those that have taken ISDS when will we get our grades?
We are supposed to get the grades when the test expires or 10:59 PM tonight, I think...

All done with ISDS. I had a mediocre experience with ProctorU. Took about 25 minutes from log in until I started the exam. I had to go from a proctor then transferred to IT who changed some settings, then back to another proctor who finally got me up and going. This is my first session using proctoring, and after using protorio last night for the FIN 730 exam, ProctorU is 10x worse. I don't see the need for a proctoring service for an open book exam.

Chiming in on the ISDS Exam, same here, ProctorU setup took a solid 20 mins. I thought the exam itself was ok... I work in the tech industry so I felt pretty confident with most of the questions. I spent more time searching the text book to double check my answers. Good luck everyone, hopefully our grades turn out well!

Had a bad experience with ProctorU early this morning. Got passed around. Exam didn't start until 75 minutes after it was scheduled and there was a lot of waiting for them to respond as if they were handling several people at once. Also, proctor was hard to understand and disconnected intentionally when I asked her to repeat herself one too many times apparently, and had to start session over again.

ProctorU is more of a hassle than Proctorio by far. I wonder why the professor uses it when there's really no need since the exam is open book/note? I checked my system ahead of time and had no issues, but when I checked right before the exam I had all sorts of issues. It took around 10-15 minutes to get everything done before I started the exam. All in all I had an okay experience, but don't see the point in using it. Grades are posted FYI

It took a little while for the ISDS 705 test to get started but after all the red tape, there was no issues. I don't understand why we have to have it proctored with open book/notes but I also don't want him to change his mind and not allow open notes and book. I will take the hassle of ProctorU to be allowed open book and notes!!

Perhaps the managers at ProctorU should enroll in classes at LSUS to learn how to run a more effective operation! Seriously, if the customer experience expressed here is representative of the whole, they shouldn't be too pleased with themselves. For their part, I think LSUS admin could evaluate the proctoring services and choose one across the program rather than engaging multiple vendors. As for the question of why proctoring is even needed for an open book test, this is speculation but I wonder if it has something to do with accreditation requirements, as in: "X number of courses must use proctoring."

I also took the ISDS 705 exam last night. Proctor U had to take over my computer to change some settings because the Applet wouldn't run even though I did the system test earlier in the week. Loading the Applet seems too much. I really think Proctor U is too invasive. After 15 minutes, I was able to take the test. No issues after that. I'm sorry some of y'all had trouble with it. It makes me worried about the next testing experience.
A survey did pop up for me after finishing.
2 more to go!

No survey for me either. At least I know what to expect and won't have a mild panic attack. I had to log out of proctorU last night before i even started the test and when i logged back in it said my next test was in 14 days

Would have liked to be able to view the test and not just the grade.

I had a terrible first-time ProctorU experience last night. I had run the "test my equipment" step multiple times out of nervousness and everything showed green checks. However, when I actually went to connect to them at 6:40 PM Flash would not enable. The Proctor sent me to level 1 support and they were unable to do anything so they sent me to level 2 support who tried the same steps to no avail. They fed me a line about how they installed video drivers while we were connected and that they wanted to reboot but they never did that. They never installed video drivers. Eventually I ended up just rescheduling the exam, rushing home, and taking it from there on my home PC.
In ProctorU's defense, I was on my work laptop (which I have admin access to) and network so they were limited in the troubleshooting steps they could try. However, the "test my equipment" is misleading if it doesn't do a true test of what will be required during the actual exam. Each time I asked the tech "Why are we having problems if the equipment test shows all green?" they simply ignored the question.
Regardless of all the issues, I did well on the exam but the ProctorU portion was far more stressful.

I have 4 classes left ACCT701, FIN701, ECON 705 and an elective. I have only been taking one at a time. Would anyone recommend taking any of these classes together? If so, which ones? Thanks.

This was first time using ProctorU and it went pretty smooth. My mic wouldn't work but the proctor didn't seem to care, she seemed pretty easy going in the ProctorU chat. Overall I scored a 94 on the ISDS test. Not a bad experience.

Both ACCT and FIN are ideal to pair with another class.
