If you can at all avoid it, DON'T take 752. I have had all A's thus far with only 3 classes left to complete and i'm making 50% on all the 752 quizzes! The book is dreadful, the quizzes have multiple answers that appear to be correct, and i'm learning nothing valuable.

brazilianprincess, I'm in the same boat as you. I voiced my concerns multiple times. She started getting frustrated with me so I'm going to shut my mouth and do the best I can.
It's hard to describe the multiple choice questions, but they're written in a way to confuse. I took last weeks quiz immediately after studying the chapters in-depth. I remember a couple of questions where at least 3 out of the 4 answer choices seemed to be correct. It's frustrating, as I have always done well with multiple choice up until now.
And I agree with you on the textbook, the writing style and format is very sloppy. It reads like a freshman in college wrote it. Repeats itself and is vague. Whomever edited this textbook did a very bad job.

*So glad I dropped 752 the first week. I had a feeling it was going to be bad.

Nolamom, would you mind sending me the syllabus for MADM720 also? MondayAMQB15@gmail.com
I currently have to take two out of the three courses next session to finish up: Fin 710 with Hsieh, ISDS 705 with Lin or MADM 720 with Kim Williams. I am currently leaning towards Fin 710 and ISDS 705 because of how my experience in MADM 701 is going right now, but the burnout is real and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel so I would really like to just finish off with the two easier electives. Thanks for your input.

Congrats Any reason as to why you picked MADM 720 over Fin 710? Also, are tests in MADM 720 proctored? Looks like they will in ISDS 705

i cant recall for sure or not, but i was enrolled in fin 701 almost 2 years ago and that professor was pretty tough. im military and the tuition assistance got pit on hold, ended up getting auto dropped after not being able to even get a B after the 2nd test. theres no record of it anywhere so i cant be for certain. to avoid it im going with madm 720
they said isds is a pretty straightforward course, and after madm 701, im in the rhythm of writing a lot (and bs'ing a lot)

Just sent the syllabus for 720. I'm taking ISDS705 and MADM710 in AP2 to finish the program in 12 months, and that finish line is looking really good right now!

Nolamom
Might be in both of those with you... can't decide on 710 or 720.

Nolamom,
I'm taking ISDS705 and MADM710 in AP2 as well to finish in 12 months. You must have an HR concentration as well. Have you taken Knotts quiz for this week?

Nolamom, is this what you did for the Family Business 752 Quiz?
Did this week's quiz seem like the right answers were more obvious?
I'm going to try this. Thx for the tip!

Yes, for 752. The questions still weren't obvious and one was extremely shady, but this approach definitely helped me.

Thanks so much for the tip. I'm going to try your idea.
We all need to band together in this class as it's much tougher than I had imagined.

Nolamom, so am I good if I focus specifically on her Study Guide? It leaves out a few topics in the chapters. Can I just focus on the ones she mentions and simply skim over the others?
Posted on 6/2/17 at 7:17 am to socal77
I re-read all of it, but the study guide had most if I remember correctly.
