I'm all done! This forum has been a godsend! Thanks to all who provided advice, an ear for a rant, and encouragement!
Congratulations to my fellow grads and hopefully I'll meet some of you in December.

LSUS Online MBA Reviews
Looking for insight on pairings for Fall 2.
Taking: ISDS 705 - Lin
Need 1 of these 3:
FIN 730 - Choi
MADM 720 - Williams
MADM 752 - Knotts
I'd prefer to avoid busy work
I recommend pairing a "busy work" course like 720 with 705 (zero busy work) for a good balance now and later. Not a bad idea to let Knotts simmer in her feedback and make some course corrections with her textbook and quizzes before taking 752.

Nolamom, how had you gone about prepping for the test? did you focus on reading the chapters, foucus on PPTs etc?
I did all the tasks Dr. Lin assigned except for the in-chapter questions. I have been in the IS field for about 22 years so I didn't feel the need to do that much prep.
I just finished the ISDS 705 exam. Finished with almost an hour to spare and it would have been faster with an eBook as I did a lot of page flipping to validate my initial responses. The questions were straightforward and my first instincts were right about 95% of the time without any checking in the text. Most questions were right from the book but I saw a couple from the extra readings. I feel really good about it. Next time I'll have an electronic version of the text to save some effort.

I took the HR exam. It wasn't terrible, but you have to read the questions carefully. Had plenty of time to check my work. Definitely focused on the text like the practice. Got a 92%.

For MADM752, it's hard to remember now where I saw the information that was ultimately on the test. I did review both the slides and the text specifically in the areas she mentioned in the exam description prior to taking the test, but did not re-watch the videos.
I felt like I may have even spent too much time on review because I finished with several minutes to spare even after re-checking my answers - and did quite well. There was so much repetition of the same topics over and over in the book that the answers were pretty easy to remember. Most of them also had easily identifiable "wrong" answers that you could eliminate, which was not like the MindTap quizzes.

Brazilianprincess, I took the MADM752 test and it was finally reasonable, probably because Dr. Knotts took a minute to write it instead of depending on the test bank written by aliens for her MindTap quizzes. It is timed but I finished with plenty of time to spare.
Unless she reads my course evaluation before grading my final roundtable and business profile, it looks good for an A. If she reads my course evaluation, however, maybe a B.

Can you share the syllabus from Spring for MADM 710 please?

Don't be too impressed with last week's 100 on the MADM752 quiz.
This week I studied for hours, read both chapters twice, took insanely detailed notes and watched the videos and took notes on those. Got a 73.3.
To track my projected final grade, I've built an Excel worksheet to put in estimated remaining scores. Let me know if you want a copy.

brazilianprincess, just sent you the syllabus
I re-read all of it, but the study guide had most if I remember correctly.
Yes, for 752. The questions still weren't obvious and one was extremely shady, but this approach definitely helped me.

Just sent the syllabus for 720. I'm taking ISDS705 and MADM710 in AP2 to finish the program in 12 months, and that finish line is looking really good right now!

Sent to you along with some thoughts on MADM720. High volume, but low complexity overall.
