My teacher was Karen James. She's excellent.

Jabdallah who did you have for BADM701? I currently have Douglas white and we have only had homework assignments so far but was wondering how his final exam is.

Hello Jkdaven.
I also had Douglas White for BADM701. From what I remember, the final is only for the Statistics portion, not the Economics portion. CONNECT is used for Economics HW and LearnSmart. How are you liking those 70+ question LearnSmarts? I actually enjoyed them, you can breeze through them once you get into a rhythm.
I can't remember if there were any Economics quizzes, but I don't have anything that references quizzes in my notes. The Final Exam is taken in Moodle and covers Statistics only. It's not that bad from what I remember, but you definitely need to prepare. I thought Professor White was great.

Has anyone had Dr. Meeks for his 751 class? I noticed that he seems to require the proctoring service of Proctorio now. Wanted to get any feedback on this if possible. I had him for his 760 course & there wasn't any proctoring at all, strange that he is all of a sudden using this where he didn't before.

Yes, had Meeks for 751 and Dr. Knotts for 752. Both were relatively easy A's. No, back when I took it there was no proctoring for Meeks' class.

Sorry I'm late to the Vines finance party! Challenging class. I got a 88 and 98 on the tests so far. Im really hoping the 3rd and 4th modules are easier - they look shorter.
Paul, for finance with Vines do you remember if the modules get any easier as the class progresses?

Yes, they do. I found modules 5-7 to be more conceptual than quantitative.

Anybody know anything about Hayati for ISDS 702? Looks like it's just 4 tests and no homework assignments for his class. Just looking ahead to AP2 and starting to get nervous about this class.

lsusports I have not taken ISDS 702 but a co-worker has. From what he described you basically just read the assigned chapters and take a test on them. No homework. He did say it was a relatively easy class.

lsusports I will be in there with you. From classmates in previous classes they have said Hayati is much easier than the other ISDS professor. Did you see he already sent an email about our textbook?

Who did he take for ISDS 702?

Scratch what I said. I was thinking ISDS 705. My co-worker took 705 with Lin but apparently it is the same, only reading and 4 tests.

I'm trying to complete the program by the end of summer AP2 (August). I've doubled up with classes twice so far, and will have to double up again in order to finish by August. Unfortunately, my remaining 4 classes seem like the hardest ones that are left. Based on the way the classes are offered, I'll either have to take ISDS 702 and ECON together, and then MADM 720 and MKT alone per session. Or, I can double up with a combination of ECON/MADM 720 or ISDS 702/MADM 720 and take the remaining 2 as single classes.
I know this looks terrible, but does anybody have any recommendations on which classes to take together? Is ECON and ISDS 702 doable in the same session?
TIA!

I've been in the program since fall of 2015. I have one class left to graduate and I'm taking it alone. It's ISDS 702. I wanted to save it for my last class and take alone. I wouldn't pair it with MADM 720.

lsusports, I doubled up Econ 705/MADM 720 Fall AP2. I ended up with 2 A's but it wasn't easy. No life whatsoever for 7 weeks. I know others have said 720 is better than 701 but to me 720 and Mabry requires a ton of work, primarily due to the peer feedback that's mandatory. Best of luck!

Anybody else think ACCT701 is basically a repeat of BADM700 with a slightly different emphasis?
There doesn't seem like there's much new material over the prerequisite class.

I checked out the program after seeing how many people on the board are in it. I had no idea how affordable it is. ~$11k all in is pretty amazing for someone that in the right situation.
