Thank you Brees! When this Thursday hits for you, you're going to feel quite relieved!

Thank You SoCal77, it was a rough road, but well worth the effort!

Thank You Ashley!

Thank you Brent! No, I won't be attending the ceremony. I'll be moving back out west by November, & with all the stuff I need to take care of with moving & expenses, I just won't have the time.

Well... I'm pretty much officially done with the program. :nana: Graduation packet was completed on the 1st day of this 7 week term, & I paid my $50 fee just a few days ago. I've completed my last 3 discussion posts as well as my responses to other classmates, & I've also just turned in my final case study for MKT 701. The only thing left for me to do is to take this last exam. It feels awesome to have this weight lifted up off my shoulders after dedicating so many hours to this program, & the best part of it all, it looks as if I'll be graduating with a 4.0, a personal goal of mine that I set at the beginning. :dude: To everyone else, stay strong, keep pushing through, & best of luck!

Yes, it can't come fast enough... I'm looking forward to the days of not knowing what to do but knowing that I have the option to do absolutely whatever!

I really wish they would hurry up & post that fee. I'm ready to pay it & be done with it. After this Sunday, only 2 more weeks left & I will be finished. Hopefully I can finish with my 4.0 just for personal achievement, but more importantly, above all else, I'm just ready to have my social life back!

Having had Vines for both 701 & 730, it is imperative that you focus, in my opinion, all of your reading on his reading guide. Not once did I ever read anything out of the books for either class, & I managed to get very high A's in both courses (I am not, & I reiterate, NOT a finance person, like, at all).

Read his guide, then read it again, & again, & again, read it until you're ready to take the exam... make time to go to all of his Zoom sessions, ask questions on what you don't understand, after he explains it, if you're still having trouble, ask him to break it down even further, he will. He'll tell you to take advantage of him & his expertise, as he says that he's a resource for you to use, so use him. Take notes during his sessions, he'll give you answers to some of the questions that will be on the test without realizing it sometimes. Anything that he would talk about, & give his definition as to what he thought something meant, I took note of it, & most times it showed up on the exam in some form or another.

Maybe I was lucky with my classmates as we had a lot of people attend the Zoom meetings & ask questions over & over again, until we all understood it. SoCal77 can verify this as we were in 701 at the same time. I'm sure a few others on here were too.

If you can't make it to the Zoom meetings, then watch the YouTube replays & email him. As others said, create an excel formula sheet, it will definitely help with the time on the test, I never used Excel a day in my life until this class, but I learned quickly. I still have my sheets (most are just plug & chug) so if anyone would like them for reference just send me your email & I'll forward them to you.

Glad you were able to get it down. I didn't even bother putting a heading & all that nonsense on mines. Didn't see the need to since it wasn't stated anywhere that I read from the materials the professor gave us that it was required. Time to do a little bit more studying for his exam now.

EDIT: I completely forgot that it's part of the header for the APA format, guess I have to go back in & re-edit it...

730 is way easier than 701... They were both easy (I'm not a finance person at all) but in comparison 730 had way less math. Out of the 4 tests that he gives in 730 (same as 701), I had less than 10 quantitative problems, might have been about 7. I know that most of it was luck of the draw on my part since his test were all random. But, the majority of my questions were almost all definitions & whatnot. All I know is that every question that was asked that didn't have math in it could be found directly in the reading guide.

Awesome... sorry to hear that yours keeps taking so long. The process is a bit stupid but once the exam starts, I forget that I'm even being "watched"

socal77, for ISDS705 I'm assuming there were no surprises & that nothing was changed in the structure & format of test 2 and that it's the exact same as test 1 in regards to the "search function" being the MVP again?

scored a perfect 100 on the ISDS 705 exam.... I'm extremely happy now that I chose this over 702 LoL

I just finished, damn proctor tried to close out my notes at the beginning of the session... I was like hold on there buddy, this is allowed, had to show him the notes page from Moodle so he could get a screen shot, other than that, no issues, I forgot I was even being watched... search function was the MVP, as you've all already stated... all the questions were easy, but it was nice to have the verification. Having all those extra docs I made helped too, even if a bit redundant. I feel like I got a perfect 100... definitely an A if not though.

How does one go about extracting only the chapters for creating a separate PDF... next module I would like to only do that instead of it searching the whole e-text. Along with my list of key terms as well.

I'll be taking my ISDS705 exam in about another hour... I have a few questions...

1. Was the setup of the questions like the example he gave in moodle? I somehow doubt the question will tell you to refer to a certain page in the text like it does in his example

2. Was only the e-book allowed? I was told that any e-document could be referenced so long as you have it ready before the exam (i.e., word docs)

3. What was the ProctorU experience like?

As far as ISDS 705 is concerned, I'm just following his instructions verbatim. I don't like surprises, despite it being open book/notes. Personally, I've taken all the questions & combined them into a word file, did the same thing in separate word files for the PPTs, definitions, & notes. I also put the transcripts of the videos in a word file too... but I honestly don't think this overkill on my end is necessary (better to have it & not need it than to need it & not have it), but if his example in Moodle of how his test questions will be (as in after the question is asked he gives you a reference page number to where to find the answer in the book) are any indication as to how it will be then I think we'll be good to go.... but you NEVER know

In reference to ISDS 705, this is the info I found for test #3 in Moodle, I can only assume it is the same for all 3 tests: I do wonder if we have to print out our notes, I keep all of mines on my computer & laptop, given my current location I would have to drive almost 6 hours to the nearest city just to have access to a printer, & even then I would have to get permission just to do that. I'll have to email him about that later to see what he says since I've never taken a proctored online exam in my life prior to this class, anyways here's the information:

"ISDS 705 tests (test #1, #2, and #3) are open-book exam. And the proctors are aware that our exams are open book. Textbook (either printed or e-book) along with your homework, all of printouts, case study, website information, messages, notes, and attachments MUST be kept handy during the test time period since you need to refer to several of materials during the test."

Test #3 questions consist of 50 objective test items: most (on average more than 80%) are multiple-choice format, and several (on average less than 20%) are true-false questions. Each question is worth 2 points.

For those of you who are taking MADM760 with Meeks, just know that it is hands down the easiest class in the program. It's also, in my opinion, one of the better classes. I felt like I really learned a lot. The book was easy to read since it was a PDF &, to me, it didn't feel like it had a lot of "filler", the materials got straight to the point & provided great examples.

Now for those who are taking it next, please let me know what textbook is required this time around. If it's the same as the one we used then I already have it & will gladly email it to you. When I took his course the authors gave Meeks permission to give it to us for free. I have no problem doing the same.

The version that I have is "Mastering Strategic Management" by Dave Ketchen & Jeremy Short

SoCal77, this quote was found on page 49 of this thread by Winchester12

"I spoke with a co-worker this morning who had Lin for ISDS 705. He said you read certain chapters each week and then have a mid-term and then read another certain amount of chapters each week and then take a final test. No math, no calculations. Test were 60 minutes I think. He took it in the fall of 2015 and said it wasn't proctored so he used notes and tabbed his book out. Not sure if its proctored now though?? In his opinion it was an easy class and he got an A. Seems easier and less stressful to me than ISDS 702. Anyone who registered for it for AP2 please provide some feedback."

Only difference now is that it's 3 tests & it may be proctored...

Also, has anyone taken the final for MADM 752? I would like to know the structure in terms of did you find it to be easier than those MindTap quizzes with the trick questions? Were the answers easy enough to get right based off common sense & looking over the material that she said would be covered? Is it more akin to the knowledge assessments, & how they were setup?

hello SoCal, yeah it was on either page 82 or 83 of this thread... he said that he found it online & I was just hoping to get the link for it. Haven't heard back or received anything as of yet.

This ISDS class is my 2nd to last class, so all I really need to pull is a C. As of right now I've made all A's in each course. I'll either leave 752 with Knotts with a low A or high B... either way I'm in my "I don't give a f*#!" mode as far as these last two classes go LoL
