Yea you're right but they make me sad because both had so much potential :(

nah, he was just a bust. kinda odd, because as well as he shot 3s, you'd figure he could be somebody's floor stretcher off the bench. did well for himself overseas though.
more Duke injury issues:
Elton Brand (tore his achilles as a 20/10 guy who hadn't turned 30 yet)
Boozer
Deng
Kyrie
Coach K is cursed!

Shawn Respert was one of the best college scorers I ever saw...flamed-out of the league. Had cancer and never told anyone until after it was over.

Jason Williams (Duke version)

wow, never knew Respert had cancer until your post. apparently that "news" has been around since 05.

I really liked him in college, he could flat light it up. Big Ten had a lotta good players back around that time.

Grant hill is the first guy I think of. He is basketballs ken griffey Jr.

T-Mac and Roy are easily 1a and 1b for me. While Bynum looked like he could be a top 5 Center when he was healthy, he came off as souch a douche that it's hard to call his injuries disappointing. Grant Hill's career was definitely disappointing, but still impressive that he was able to stay around as long as he did.

Bill Walton woulda been the GOAT big man
Bill Walton was injured his entire career in the NBA.
He definitely would not have been the GOAT, but he'd probably would have been in the Top 10-15 all-time players and arguably the 3rd or 4th best center of all-time without all the injuries.

This is another really good answer.

I might re-post my "What-If" lengthy post I did on this since this is getting a good bit of feedback

Drazen Petrovic doesn't fit the "injury prone" label, but he left us in his prime and he was a beast.
