After some extensive google imaging and research I have self diagnosed this thing I've had for about 5 years. Completely painless but it's very unsightly and I want it removed. Has anyone fought this battle before? Do y'all think I could safely drink a few bourbans and lance it myself with a sterilized blade? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Why not? Just film it for us when you do it please. TIA!

Get it taken out by a doctor. But if you do it yourself video it and post it

Had two removed by dermatologists over the last eight years. One in each ear lobe. Let the professionals handle it.

Go to a surgeon and get it removed. Depending on the size and where it is located, it would be as easy as an in-office procedure. At worst, it will be outpatient surgery.

I've had one and was tempted to do the same thing. A doc just removed mine. One of the problems of doing it yourself is that it will grow back if you don't get the sac it's in. And it's bloody as heck.

For real though you should just pierce it with like a 25 gauge syringe and squeeze it. If you are lucky it may just work out like it did for this dude:

Did on my head. Accident,y popped it one day before I actually knew what it was.

The stuff that came out was

Got it removed pretty easily, but the thing that sucks is if you do remove it and leave absolutely any of it behind, it will grow right back. Mine hasn't, so I guess I got lucky with a good doctor.

I had one on my neck for several years, and until recently it had never hurt or been uncomfortable. Within the last month it began hurting so I had my dermatologist remove it by making a small incision to squeeze the fluid out. It was such an easy process, I wish I had taken care of it years ago. But it's all good now, as if it was never there.

I have had one on the back of my neck for 25 years It has swelled up twice and had to be lanced. The first time as soon as he touched it with a scapel it exploded and got all over him and my SO who was assisting him.

Before having it removed, think this out......

You have a cyst on your wang.

Cysts can grow to a virtually unlimited size.

Just sayin, think about it.
