My favorite is Dolce Vita.
Domenica is also really good.
If I'm going for more Americanized style pizza I usually go to Slice or Louisiana Pizza Kitchen.
(I haven't tried Ancora or Pizza Delicious, yet. Though I've heard they are both solid.)

I can say decisively that Theo's sucks dick.
The absolute best is gonna be Domenica.
If you want something different, try Tower of Pizza in Metairie.
If you want cheap and easy to phone in and pick up, I'd probably do Slice.

I have to admit, the last combo pizza I had at Reginelli's was very good.
Pi in the warehouse district is also very good.

Ancora
Domenica
Dolce Vita
For more traditional American pies if you eat in the restaurant:
NY Pizza (thin crust is good)
Theo's - went downhill but has better the last time
Slice
Reginelli's (on the corner of State, only)
Domenica

I like Domenica

I've been to the majority of the places named in this thread and my vote would be for Ancora. My only problem with then is that their pizzas are so hot out of the oven that the cheese and sauce is literally liquefied. I have to let it cool for a few minutes and 'set' before I can eat it, but once I do that, it tastes great. The crust is perfection; I just wish their sauce was slightly sweeter. I've had pizzas at the original Domenica and I prefer Ancora... looking forward to trying the new Domenica location.
