Top 5
Rice

IMO for undergrad. It really varies a ton based on what you want to major in though

In a team building exercise today, Coach Sumlin had the aggy football team go to the orphanage to visit the children. "It was heartbreaking, seeing their faces, hearing their stories and knowing they were going nowhere with their lives" said Jimmy, age 6.
All I care to contribute

Austin College in Sherman is a better school and tougher to get into than most big TX universities.
It produces more MDs per graduate than anywhere in Texas. As alumni from there are quick to tell everyone they see.

Trinity and Southwestern are excellent schools too. You almost have to seperate them into a different category though

I know a bunch of trust fund kids from NOLA without a lick of sense that went to SMU. So I would throw that school out of the discussion.
