So you were clearly never invested in the show, and you are basing your entire opinion off of it by seeing episodes "here and there"

You sound like a close-minded moron

Yup. You caught me. Close-minded over a science fiction television show.

Well you think you can accurately judge a show's finale when you haven't seen most of the show, so yeah, I'd say that makes you close-minded.

Sorry your favorite show ended with one of the worst finales ever recorded. It must really rustle your jimmies knowing that you dedicated all that time to a television show only to be left with an M. Night Shyamalan worthy conclusion.

How about you frick off? In fact, I'd say the finale was my favorite episode of the series. Sorry if it went over your head or you listened to your equally stupid friend's rant about it.

Tell me where LOST touched you. You seem to be irrationally angry and bitter about it.

It's really, really fricking clear what happened in the finale. It's only stupid people like yourself who didn't get it. There is no argument on what happened since it is point blank explained to the audience.

Actually, I did. Had an ex-girlfriend that was obsessed with it and watched episodes here and there to know that it was a ridiculous show with a barrage of useless premises. It's almost as if the creators had no idea where they wanted to take the show and just decided to vomit ideas until they came to a conclusion.

That's like picking up a book, randomly reading about 6 random chapters, then reading the final one and complaining it made no sense. Of course it's not going to make any sense if that's how you view it.

It was probably the best finale that it could have been to what is easily my favorite tv show. I loved it.

I don't get the hate for the show and especially the finale. LOST was the best television experience I have ever had and probably always will be. Just thinking about the finale gives me goosebumps.

Why is this so important to so many knuckleheads on this board?

99.99% of all writers have no idea where the story will take them when they pitch the idea to the networks.

I love every minute of lost. Best score of any TV show ever.

Why do people say this? I have seen numerous interviews with Damon & Carlton and they have always said that there was always a planned beginning, a middle and an ending from the start.

It's really kind of pointless for people on both sides to get so angry with each other over what is, in the long run, a matter of tastes. (Although it can be entertaining at times).

For me personally the show kept me interested for a little more than a season and I lost interest. Not saying it's wrong for people to like it or even for it to be their favorite show. Just didn't do it for me.

The best I can explain it is that shows where a big mystery or plot twists are a large part of the appeal have never been a top priority for me.

Some people complain about particular seasons. I liked them all. Maybe I noticed a drag in the original watch when I had to wait a week for the next episode, but if I did I don't remember. Buy I did a rewatch as well and didn't find any season without its own merits. And Evangeline Lilly doesn't get enough credit. She is the perfect woman, and one that doesn't need makeup or other enhancements.

Nicely done.

This doesn't make much sense. The finale wasn't really ambiguous at all...it was very clearly explained what was going on. So either your friends are stupid, or you're making this up.

I have no problem with someone not liking the show for whatever legitimate reasons, but the reasons you are citing sound like you're simply regurgitating something you've heard from other people and seem to have almost zero basis in reality or you actually experiencing the show. So I'm not surprised that you're being blasted in this thread...because you sound pretty hilarious in it.

This shows how pointless you are to the discussion. There isn't ANYTHING ambiguous about the finale. There is no mystery to the ending and the alleged friends you have must be borderline retarded.

One thing to say you didn't like the ending, but another thing to say it was somehow mysterious. It is 100% spelled out so a child could understand.

Get 'em!! This is a thread on why I am hooked on the show. Like Cap Crunch previously stated I am only 8 episodes in. There is 6 seasons with 24 episodes in each season. I am not the least bit concerned with the finale right now. My two concerns right now are who is trying to stop them from getting off the island and when do I get to see more Evangline Lilly!

I remember seeing the episode Walkabout (i think its the 4th or 5th episode) and you discover that Locke was paralyzed before coming to the island. At the end of the episode when it's revealed and cuts to him taking his first steps on the island and i just remember being blown away and couldn't wait to find out more. That's when I knew i was hooked
